Hey there!
Therapy is not “one size fits all.” I identify as an integrative therapist, drawing skills from Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Therapy interventions are tailored so that we address what brings you to therapy focusing on your lived experiences and your symptoms.
Sometimes it can be hard to remember that I’m not defined by what is exhausting and upsetting. That’s part of the reason that I was drawn to trauma work.
I have personal experiences with trauma and my own chronic illness. As someone who lives with a chronic illness and the lingering trauma that comes with it, I understand what it’s like to feel like your life is unrecognizable, or even worse that you have to settle for what your life has become.
Outside of therapy, I love reading, laughing with my wife, and being entertained by our many animals!
