Hey there!
Therapy is not “one size fits all.” I identify as an integrative therapist, drawing skills from Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Therapy interventions are tailored so that we address what brings you to therapy from a holistic, person-centered perspective.
When we feel stuck, it can be hard to remember that we are not defined by what exhausts and distresses us. Part of the reason that I was drawn to trauma work, are personal experiences with trauma and my own chronic illness. As someone who lives with a chronic illness and the lingering trauma that comes with it, I understand what it’s like to feel like your life is unrecognizable, or even worse that you have to settle for what your life has become.
Humor is super important to me. Laughing has helped me get through some dark times! So I definitely use humor (when appropriate) in therapy sessions.
Outside of therapy, I love reading, laughing with my wife, and being entertained by our many animals! You’ll probably meet Lincoln (the black dog) as he has anxiety and loves to sit on my lap during sessions!
“Healing is about reclaiming our power, and re-writing our future”.

OUR VALUES
-
We believe healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Community is a core value of our practice, and we strive to foster connection, belonging, and support both within and beyond the therapy space. By honoring relationships, shared experiences, and collaboration, we aim to help individuals feel more connected—to themselves, to others, and to the communities that support their well-being.
-
We believe mental health care should be accessible, inclusive, and affirming for all. Social justice is a core value of our practice, guiding us to recognize the impact of systemic inequities, discrimination, and oppression on mental health. We strive to create a safe, respectful space where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued. We emphasize advocating for equity, dignity, and empowerment within and beyond the therapy space.
-
We value openness and honesty in the therapy process. We strive to be clear and thoughtful in our communication, explaining what to expect and inviting your questions along the way. Our hope is to create a space where you feel informed, comfortable, and supported, so we can work together with trust and care.
